Iran's Mineral Springs
Iran possesses great number of hot mineral springs. These are sources of
attraction for many people both within Iran and from all over the world
to come and enjoy their time, do hydrotherapy etc... It is important
thus, to identify those areas which are best to spend time in, and in
general, enjoying the hydrotherapy with your family and friends. This
month's feature includes East Azarbaijan, and we shall introduce other
mineral springs elsewhere in the country in an orderly fashion.
East Azarbaijan
East Azarbaijan province due to it's geology and environmental
structures, has lots of important known hot mineral springs. These
include; Allah Hagh, Abras, Taap Taapan, Varjooy, Goshayesh, Abgarm-e-
Saraab, Soofian, and Kandovan Springs.
We recommend that you combine a tour of history and hot mineral springs,
so to make it a diverse and memorable one!

In: September 6, 2006 Out: September 12, 2006
Day 1/ September 6 TEHRAN- TABRIZ, Early morning flight to
Tabriz, arrive at Tabriz, transfer to Pars El- Goli International Hotel
(5*). Half day city tour including a visit to Azarbaijan Museum, Kabood
Mosque, Arg, and Tombs of the Poets. Overnight at hotel./B
Day 2/ September 7 TABRIZ- KANDOVAN, after breakfast,
driving to village of Kandovan (approx 65 km to Tabriz), to see the
amazing houses carved in the cliffs. In the afternoon, return to Tabriz,
overnight at hotel./B
Day 3/ September 8 TABRIZ- LAKE ORUMIYEH, after breakfast,
proceed to visit Orumiyeh lake (second largest salt lake in the world,
approx 100 Km to Tabriz), and camping there. In the afternoon, return to
Tabriz, overnight at hotel./BL
Jazirey-e- Eslami, Orumiye
Day 4/ September 9 TABRIZ- SAR EIN HOT MINERAL SPRING, In
the morning drive towards Sar Ein (approx 200 Km to Tabriz), enjoying
the hotel mineral water. Overnight at Inn in Sar Ein./B
Day 5/ September 10 SAR EIN- TABRIZ, In the morning,
enjoying the Sar Ein hot mineral springs. In the afternoon, return to
Tabriz, overnight at Pars Hotel./B
Day 6/ September 11 TABRIZ- TEHRAN, In the morning, visit
Tabriz Bazaar (the largest covered Bazaar in the world). In the
afternoon, flight to Tehran, transfer to Homa Hotel (5*), overnight at
hotel./B
Day 7/ September 12 TEHRAN- HOME COUNTRY, early morning,
transfer to the airport for flying back home. The tour ends here.
